Kontrons new PCI749D is a new Pentium? 4 full size form factor single board computer (SBC) with an onboard compact Flash Type II and four USB 2.0 !
Kontron, the leading global embedded computer maker, launches the latest P4 SBC ?PCI 749D, the best Pentium? 4 Platform for todays Applications. PCI 749D successfully deployed Intel?s most advanced 845G chipset, which supports high CPU frequencies up to 2.2 GHz and above with front side bus running at 533MHz than 845GL chipset at 400 MHz. PCI-749D also provides high memory capacities up to 2 GB DDR SDRAM (DDR 200/DDR 266). Memory transmission rate is as high as 2.1Gb/ sec.
In addition to its powerful computing engine, the boards full function design includes such features as chipset integrated 2D/3D graphics engine with AGP 4x bandwidth (64MB V-RAM), built-in USB2.0 and on board CompactFlash. PCI 749D delivers super graphic performance without additional cost on graphic controller. The graph core is integrated in Intels 845G chipset, and provides unique Intel? Extreme Graphics architecture to maximize VGA performance capability.
Four USB 2.0 provides an expandable, Plug and Play serial interface that ensures a standard low-cost connection for peripheral devices. USB2.0 will support up to 480Mbps for high-speed devices. Industrial applications will benefit from the four USB2.0 ports by pin-header, offering efficiency and value without compromising performance.
Moreover, It supports one CompactFlash Type II module and AC97 compliant audio. It can allow customers to do further integration.
