Kontron Announces Highest Quarter to Date

Q2 Hits All-Time High of $32 million with $60 Million Due to Ship by Year’s End

San Diego (August 4, 2006) – Kontron announced its highest quarter to date with its Q2 (April – June) closing at a record $32 million in revenues. Setting itself up for another record quarter, Kontron also created a substantial backlog – totaling $59.7 million – scheduled for delivery by the end of the calendar year.

With products delivered to high-profile customers in industries such as: government contractors, federal entities to municipalities, public safety, gaming, network and data storage systems, oil and gas, home automation and breweries; Kontron has proven itself as the global leader in the embedded computing industry.

In addition to setting a record quarter, Kontron also set a company record for revenues and bookings for the month of June. With June revenues topping $15.9 million and bookings totaling $22 million, Kontron has set the bar for an outstanding fiscal-year 2006.
